Mitsa Assaf is a Lebanese artist whose love for painting began when she was just eight years old. With a background in graphic design, she developed a strong foundation in technique, but it’s her natural creativity and emotional connection to her work that truly bring her paintings to life.

Her artistic style is deeply influenced by the impressionist beauty of Claude Monet and the emotional intensity of Vincent van Gogh. Like her inspirations, Mitsa uses bold brushstrokes and vivid colors to express movement, energy, and feeling—often drawing from the natural world around her.

Over the years, her work has been exhibited in some of Lebanon’s most respected art spaces, including the Beirut Forum, Sin El Fil Municipality, UNESCO Palace, Beit Beirut (Sodeco), and the National Library in Sanayeh. Each show reflects her evolving journey and the way she continues to connect with viewers through her art.

Living in Zouk Mosbeh, Adonis, Mitsa finds daily inspiration in the landscapes and light around her. One of her standout pieces—a colorful acrylic painting of a springtime forest—captures the heart of her approach. Tall trees rise through lush greens and blues, while the ground bursts with pink, white, and violet blossoms. Soft tones and dappled light hint at a peaceful path winding through the scene, inviting the viewer into a moment of quiet wonder.
