Sparkling Sunset

In Sparkling Sunset (2019), the warmth of dusk over vineyards becomes a field of luminous marks. Blush, peach, and amber tones gather above layered passages of olive, turquoise, and pale blue, while dark, branching contours lend structure to the scattered dots. Working in ink and mixed media on gesso board, the artist creates a surface that shifts with viewing distance: intimate micro-textures resolve into a softly glowing, impressionistic atmosphere. Rather than describing a landscape in detail, the painting translates its emotional resonance into colour and rhythm. Radiance becomes a language of quiet abundance, connecting the fleeting light of evening with the pleasure of everyday rituals and the persistence of memory.
