Wisteria

Wisteria centers on the theme of ephemeral beauty — the brief, delicate moment when the flower cascades in soft, amethyst‑colored falls. The work captures the tension between transience and lasting emotional resonance: although the bloom is short‑lived, its impression remains vivid, almost luminous, in memory.

The gentle flow of the blossoms is paired with a sense of quiet luxury and refined elegance, enhanced by the mixed media on gesso board. The micro‑textures of ink, graphite, and pigment create a soft atmospheric field that feels both tender and visually strong — a quality collectors value for its serenity, harmony, and emotional warmth.

Thematically, the piece speaks of nature’s subtle opulence, of a moment that appears, glows, and fades, yet leaves behind a lasting trace.
“The bloom may be brief but the memory of its beauty will last a lifetime.” (Doe Zantamata)
